Today's field trip to the mall!

 I was so proud to walk around with such a great class!  Everyone went up and either talked with Santa or chose to used a communication board to show their wish list.  The train ride was also a big hit!  Tomorrow we will take a vote to choose their favorite part of the day ---- Santa visit, train ride, play area or McDonalds.  Please respond on this post with your best guess for the favorite activity!!!
(If you guess and get the answer right we can begin to make this sight more interactive.  Who knows maybe there will be prizes involved. :)
I also have some pictures and will be getting everyone copies soon.  Who knows maybe your kiddo will get a special letter over the break.

Holiday party

This Friday we will be having a classroom party. During this time we will be busy finishing up our suprise craft projects.  We will also decorate sugar cookies!  I will bring the cookies, but would appreciate some decorations.  There will be a sign up sheet in your child's folder.

Southridge mall

Don't forget our trip is coming soon!  We will be leaving school from 9:30 - 1:00 on Wednesday.  We will purchase and eat McDonalds, ride the train, play at the new play area and visi Santa.  It's going to be a very exciting day!  if you have not yet turned in your permission form and $ please turn in ASAP!

Conferences

Thanks to everyone who attended parent / teacher conferences!  Please always feel free to call, email, write a note or text ANY time you have a question or concern.  Part of my job is to help explain what we are working on in class and give examples of learning that can continue at home.  If you are interested in a folder of activities to work on during the upcoming break please let me know.

The Big Backyard

 Huge thank you to everyone who was able to make it to our social even.  I hope you enjoyed hanging out and watching the children interact with their peers, teachers and therapists.  We hope to be lucky enough to have another event there soon! Please look for an information sheet in your child's backpack.  I would appreciate it if you could take the time to thank the owners on The Big Backyard for donating the facility for our private use!  I especially loved seeing parents and teachers sliding (falling) down the slides!

Donations needed!

As most of you already know during our snack time we offer mio to flavor the water.  This is definitely a big hit and we are running low.  Since drinking water is so important to stay healthy we would love some donations.  It's not necessary to buy the name brand Target and Walmart also carry their own.

Conference December 13th

Thursday December 13th I will be available at night for conferences.  If you would like to sit and chat about anything from academics to behaviors I am here.  I would love to share some of the strategies that we are using in the classroom during our lessons.  I also could go over some of the websites and apps that are also great ways to motivate more learning.  Please check your child's green folder for a sign up sheet.
